Unifi Router Wifi Slow
I am getting significantly slower download speeds on my Surface Pro 4 than any other device in my house. Any ideas why or suggestions on what to check? With my Surface Pro 4 and my wife's iPad sitting side by side, using speedtest.net to test, I typically get 20-60 Mbps on my Surface Pro 4 and 90+ Mbps on my wife's iPad. I run the tests sequentially so that they do not interfere with each other, and Irun them repeatedly to rule out anomalies. The Surface Pro 4 is consistently and markedly slower. I am running a Ubiquiti Unifi ac Pro access point with a v4.8.14 controller.
Both devices are connecting with 802.11ac. My Marvell Avastar driver is v.59Anyone have any thoughts? Hello MichaelBrossart,I would recommend reinstalling the Marvell Avastar driver in Device Manager and then restarting the Surface Pro 4:- Open Device Manager- Expand Network Drivers- Right-click on Marvell Avastar driver and press uninstall. Do Not delete the driver software.- Restart Surface Pro 4You can also use the to make sure you have the latest drivers. The name of the file is SurfacePro4Win101604011.msi and you just need to double-click on it to run it.There is then. Have you checked that the router itself is up to date.If the issue remains, I suggest to contact for exchange options.Best Regards. It is most certainly used.

YOUR ISP may not have rolled it out in preparationfor the eventual IPv4 depletion, but.Barb My Blog - MVP-Windows and Devices for IT Windows Insider MVP. Hi,this bugged me for weeks now, since the wlan problems were only sporadic, and sometimes it worked fine, sometimes it did not, using the same wlan access points with no apperent changes to the environment. Then it hit me: Whenever I am unplugged (power wise) performance is absolutely bad. Bad meaning: Not more than 30Mbit/s througput with additional 10seconds periods of absolutely no throughput at all in between. When the device is AC powered, wlan performanceis perfect. How can we change that?Officially you can't.Unofficial:You have to disable connected standby via registry. Then the power options contain additional settings to let you set High Performance mode for WLAN even in battery mode.Chapter: Windows 10 Power Settings: Access All Power Options (Disable Connected Standby)And since then it just works. Why Microsoft doesn't let us do that from the UI: No idea.Hope this helps, and sorry for the rant.;)Regards,Marc.
